Wood Borer Management
POWDER POST BEETLE also known as Wood borors. Unlike termite it is equally important pest, which destroys wood. The main sign of infestation is yellowish powder falling from furniture, which is an excreta of organism, Larvae bore the wood and live for years feeding on the wood-creating network of Internal tunnels throughout the timber and can quickly reduce it to dust.
Powder post beetles mainly belong to following four important families of order Coleoptera.
- 1) Lyctidene
- 2) Bostichideae
- 3) Anobideae
- 4) Garamycidae
MODE OF TREATMENT
An oil base solution is injected in the holes created of damage caused by powder post beetle. The entire infection portion is then sprayed and the holes are then plugged with wood wax.

We Offer Annual Maintenance Contract as well as Single Treatment for the contract of Powder post beetles. Under annual maintenance contract a 2 major treatment in first 2 month and two check up visit, the mode of treatment is same as explained above
